I had the honor of attending the DreamWorks Voltron press event a few weeks ago and the event was incredible. I think that kids all over are going to go crazy about this show. One of the most fun things about Voltron Legendary Defender is getting to know each of the characters. Who do you relate to? Which color would you be? What personality traits do you have? I’ve created an old school cootie catcher that you can introduce to your children. Let’s drop the technology for a little bit and have some fun with the easiest form of origami.

I’ve had my mind on different craft ideas for Finding Dory, but I finally settled on one – Finding Dory string art. I am new at this craft. This is my second piece, but I absolutely love it! I figured that I’d share a string art tutorial with all of you! I hope that you enjoy it.

When I heard Voltron described as a mix of Power Rangers and Transformers, I was intrigued. That sounds pretty epic, actually. I must say, the comparison to those two iconic shows is perfect, but Voltron: Legendary Defender is so much more than that. It’s exciting, relatable, and quite funny – but most of all – it’s binge-worthy and here’s why!

I have been anticipating the release of Voltron. I watched 3 episodes of it and was hooked. I even interviewed the super fun cast at the DreamWorks Voltron press event! It’s been a long wait for Voltron Legendary Defender to finally release on Netflix, but it’s now available and a few other shows are also coming soon!

I am so excited for the home release of Zootopia. It’s one of my favorite Disney movies. I have a special connection to the movie because I interviewed the cast and the directors & producers. So, when I pictured the Big Friendly Giant hunting for dreams and stuffing them into bottles, I actually imagined the bottles as jars. At first, I pictured fireflies in jars with their beautiful green glow. Then, as the story progressed and the description deepened, a clearer picture appeared in my mind. I imagined jars that were full of pretty colors and lots of shimmer. If my favorite dreams were put into a jar, I’m sure that they’d be just as bright and colorful! That’s when the idea of these jars developed!

I have a hard time resisting anything related to Disney. It’s kinda my thing. I don’t care if you are 7 or 27 (like me), a cartoon is a cartoon and it makes me happy in my heart when it’s a Disney one. Sofia The First: The Secret Library is really cool because it features Disney characters that we know and love, like Brave’s Merida and Frozen’s Olaf. This is a show that families everywhere will love! Plus, it includes a free necklace! How cool is that?
