The movie, Eighth Grade, just hit the shelves and I'm super excited to see a film that reminds me of adolescence. I personally remember Eighth Grade being a very difficult time in my life. I was at a really awkward stage in my life. I was into boys but didn't know how to express myself. Cliques were formed and I was definitely not in the popular crowd. I was smart but it wasn't cool. It was just a strange time for me and I know a ton of other young girls are dealing with the exact same things right now! The only thing is that it's much more difficult now. Makeup is totally in and overalls are totally out. Social Media is life and there's absolutely no privacy.

My biggest hope in promoting this film is to help encourage tween and teen girls to love themselves, express themselves, and to not grow up too fast. To help them with all of the above, I've partnered with Lionsgate to giveaway an Eighth Grade movie kit and time capsule!
