Daily walks with my son are like therapy and honestly, I haven’t walked with him in months. I stopped making it a priority for no good reason other than purely being lazy and sometimes, selfish. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It wasn’t until a neighbor asked where we’d been that I realized I’d put our walks on the back burner. Now, we’re going on 3 consecutive days of walking and I think both of our moods have improved. No music, no audiobooks, just us. Talking, laughing, and bonding. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This is what being a mommy is all about. I’ll always cherish our simple moments and I think he will, too. 💖
