5 Online Courses That Will Elevate Your Self-Care & Spirituality

Thank you for reading as I highlight 5 of the best self-care courses to elevate your overall life wellness.

Self-care isn't a concept we're taught as children. If we're lucky, we are raised by parents who care so good for us that we don't have to think too much about caring for ourselves, aside from the basic needs.

While that is a beautiful thing, it can leave us feeling quite lost as we're thrown into adulthood. We are taught how to physically care for our bodies: basic hygiene, staying active, eating in moderation, dressing appropriately. Emotions and Mental Health aren't a focus.

Our mental and emotional health is often treated as if it's trivial. More times than not, the lack of communication surrounding emotional health can lead to depression, anxiety, and poor communication skills.

It's why many of us lack the ability to articulate how we're truly feeling or have a fear of judgement when expressing our emotions. Likewise, we find ourselves in situations where gaslighting, people pleasing, and emotional abuse come into play.

All of that being said, self-care is something we, as women, should make a priority in our lives. While magazines are teaching that self-care is superficial, I know from personal experience that it's much deeper than that.

That's why online self-care courses are so important. The courses I'm highlighting today give us the power to learn self-care techniques on our own time. In fact, by taking a few minutes from your day to simply dig into these courses, you're already practicing self-care.

5 Self-Care Courses to Take Immediately!

Lacking confidence, having trouble setting boundaries, breaking promises to yourself, people pleasing, poor eating habits, having a difficult time finding joy in things: these are all signs that you need a solid self-care routine that actually WORKS.

These courses will help you get into the habit of taking care of yourself.

Remember, self-care is the art of doing loving things for yourself. If you're at the beginning of your self-care journey, you may find it very difficult to make yourself a priority – especially if you're a mother.

If you're feeling stuck or unmotivated to do something for yourself, imagine it's your child or grandmother you're caring for. Repeat affirmations to him/her, speak with kindness, and dedicate quality time for some extra love and care. That's a little trick I use when loving myself isn't easy.
