Let’s face it – most of us have no idea how to cook with pumpkin from scratch. That’s why these canned pumpkin recipes are great for fall!
I have no shame admitting that I get caught up in the pumpkin craze every year. From visiting a pumpkin patch to overspend on a pumpkin to drinking all of the pumpkin spice lattes. Fall is my favorite time of the year so you’ll find me doing all of the festive, overrated things.
One of my fondest holiday memories is spending time with everyone from my dad’s side of the family. They would travel from around the country to visit for our huge family dinner. We’d indulge in apple crisp, pumpkin rolls, pumpkin pie, and my gramma’s famous chocolate cake. While those days are behind us, the memories still live on.
I’m sure you also have some pretty fantastic stories from Thanksgiving Day that probably include lots of food, football, and maybe some family fights. Hey, it’s all worth looking back on and smiling.
Now that I have my own little family – I want to start new traditions. With many pumpkin-filled dinners, you can understand why my pantry is loaded with a bulk of canned pumpkin.
If you know anything about me – you know that I’m not much of a cook. I experiment sometimes, but it’s not everyday that I cook from scratch. I can buy canned or boxed ingredients and make a dish to be envied.
Using these canned pumpkin recipes, you can make fall dishes that will have your family begging for me. Start new traditions and enjoy!
