Technology impresses me every day. There are so many cool and funky pieces of technology. There are shirts that literally light up and react to music. There are portable speakers, cameras that attach to just about anything, and there's a beanie with built-in speakers. This specific beanie is from a company called Caseco and it's pretty incredible.
First of all, this Bluetooth beanie is very well made. This beanie is part of their ribbed slouchy collection. It has a very bohemian vibe, which I adore. The material is very durable. I wouldn't worry about it getting worn out easily. The size seems great for anyone. It can be worn as a slouchy beanie or a regular one depending on your preference.
As for the look – this beanie is super stylish. I gave this one to my boyfriend, but I'd love one for myself. It's definitely gender neutral and the colors are great to wear with just about anything. It's very comfortable to wear and doesn't cause any sort of irritation. Being that it's ribbed, it's very breathable.
As for the functioning, it works great! We connected it and started playing our favorite songs within a matter of minutes. I love the controls on the side, too. That's a great feature considering that most Bluetooth connected devices require you to control them solely from your phone. I do however, which the controls were a little bit more inconspicuous. The big black box just screams “look at me!” I think that controls on the inside of the beanie would be just as useful. The quality of the sound is perfect. It's really clear and can go very loud. It isn't so loud that others can hear it, which is obviously a must.
Overall, I like this beanie. The functionality, style, and durability is on point. I just wish those darn controls were so obvious!
