My favorite season is here. My only wish is that the Florida actually knew it was Autumn. Some cool weather and colorful leaves would be nice. We don’t have actual season here in Florida, but as soon as September hits I begin to celebrate Autumn within my home. I mean, it’s crazy how a few changes in your home can change the way you feel. Basically, we don’t know it’s fall until the I change a few things in my home. I figured that I can’t be the only one, so I’m sharing my ideas with you. Enjoy!

Halloween is celebrated worldwide during the Fall and in the last decade it has become an increasingly popular occasion for adults who embrace wholeheartedly the dressing up and ghoulishness by wearing costumes worthy of The Walking Dead. So how else can we make this special night more suited to grown-up fun?

I typically walk into a new movie without many expectations. I like to give every movie a fair shot. I don’t want to be disappointed. However, I had very big expectations for Queen of Katwe. It’s a true story and when a true story is brought to the big screen – it has to be good. On top of that, I knew that the incredible cast would appropriately convey this beautiful story of strength and survival.

I often catch myself singing songs from the original The Lion King. There’s something about Disney movies that stick with you forever. I’ll always have a deep rooted love for The Lion King, so The Lion Guard has a special place in my heart before I ever even watched it. Now that I have watched it, I’m a huge fan. What kind of woman would I be if I didn’t? Not the kind of person I’d hang out with, that’s for sure! The Lion Guard is onto a new season – The Lion Guard Unleash The Power. I’m telling you that it’s so much fun! You’ll find yourself watching it long after the kids go to bed.

Beauty and the Beast is one of my all-time favorite Disney movies, mainly because I think I could be Belle in a fantasy world. Seriously, she’s perfectly humble. She’s beautiful without knowing it. She is intelligent, strong, and compassionate. I think we all secretly wish we carried those traits.
