I think that the most difficult part of a new journey is that we beat ourselves up and we push ourselves more than we reward ourselves. Rewards are encouraging and we all deserve them once in awhile. Let me set the scene. It’s date night. Every week or month you have a specific night dedicated to keeping the romance alive with your partner/spouse. Most of you would look at me funny if I said that you should go on a weekly date with your significant other. You would say that you can’t afford it. You would say that you don’t have time. You have to pay for dinner and the activity. You have to pay for gas and a babysitter. That’s if you can find one. The expenses rack up and sometimes, while important, the idea of a date night just seems out farfetched. There are ways to have cute lazy dates in your home without spending a ton of money. Now does that sound like something that’s within your reach?

Tracking PixelThere’s definitely a stigma of desk jobs being incredibly boring. This isn’t always true. It really depends on the work you do. I worked at a hotel for many years and most of my hours were spent sitting at the front desk waiting… and waiting… and waiting. My job was to wait for someone to arrive or wait for someone to call. Since we had to remain at the desk at all times, my options were limited with what I could do to fight the boredom. I had to think of unique and creative ways that weren’t against the rules. Now, I am working at a desk again. I love my job, but it still gets really boring sometimes.

The big game is coming and I think it’s important that we prepare now. If you have a huge party for the game, you know the importance of snacks and decorations. You want your party to be epic. You want it to be one to remember! A snack stadium is a new idea for me, but I wanted to make something unique and different from the average game party display. This snack stadium will be really unique because it’s going to include sweet and salty snacks.

I’m never too old for a good activity book. I guess some people grow out of these things, but not me. Seriously, I almost considered keeping a Frozen activity book recently. Give me anything Disney and you will have to pry it from my hands. Take my love for Disney, multiply it by 10, and you have the Disney-loving children. Getting kids something they will love for Christmas is fun, but getting them something that they will love and can learn from is even more exciting. What better way to teach them than through play? I am speaking of the Disney Imagicademy Activity Books for kids. They are kinda the “it thing” right now and I completely understand why.

I’ve always wanted to find something unique and fun to do with my friends and family. I’m not the most creative when it comes to finding something fun and affordable to do. When I was approached with an idea to add Painting With a Twist to this year’s Holiday Gift Guide, I just knew that it was something I would love to experience myself. I live in Deltona, Florida which is right near Orange City. I was able to set up an experience for a friend and I at the Orange City Painting With a Twist. I’ve done something similar to this, so I kind of knew what to expect. What I didn’t expect was the incredibly comfortable and laid-back atmosphere.
