Ever since I saw the first trailer for The Finest Hours, I was hooked. I thought to myself, “how could a movie trailer be this intense without giving away too much of the movie?” Well, today I got my answer – almost every scene is intense. What brings The Finest Hours onto an entirely different level than your typical action-thriller is that it is based on a true story.
The BFG – Big Friendly Giant. Are you familiar with the book? The book was written by Roald Dahl, the same author of Matilda and James and The Giant Peach! I am sure you’ve heard of those iconic titles. Growing up, I wanted to be Matilda. I also wanted to be in a peach talking to bugs like James. If this movie is anything like the other two, then we are in for a treat! After watching this new trailer, I am expecting a whimsical movie full of magic and wonder. I can’t wait to feel like a kid again and to get my imagination running. So, tell me what you think!
Ahhh… Finding Dory is swimming to theaters soon! I remember when Ellen first mentioned that there would be a Finding Dory – I thought it was a joke. Now, here we are almost a month away from it hitting theaters. This is one movie that I will see on opening day! It’s marked on my calendar and I am ready to go! Zootopia is seriously one of the best movies that I’ve seen this year! I was lucky enough to interview some of the actors and directors of the film a few months ago. The time, thought, and creativity put into bringing the world of Zootopia to life really shows on the big screen. I can’t wait to bring this baby home. I’ve been excited for this release because I want to pause, rewind, and study all of the little details that make Zootopia what it is. It’s one of those movies that you can watch over and over again and still catch something new. The bonus features on top of that, makes this a must for your Summer movie nights!
I am super excited about a new Disney Channel original movie. Growing up, all of my favorite movies were on Disney Channel, like “Luck of the Irish” and “Smart House”.
