So tonight I am home alone. The boyfriend is at work, so it is just me, my kitties, my computer, and TV. I am flipping through hundreds of channels and of course, nothing is on. Having a ton of channels isn’t always the best idea. Sometimes I want to watch a movie. Having cable doesn’t guarantee you movies. Having cable only guarantees you commercial, infomercial, news, and reruns! I am too lazy to get up an put a movie in that I have watched a thousand times. Then it hits me “WATCH NETFLIX!”
I have around 10,000 songs on my computer that I have collected over the years. I am in the music industry, so it is definitely understandable. One of my biggest issues with having so much music is definitely organizing it. So many of the songs are named incorrectly, missing the artist, or the album. I have searched for easy solutions to this issue for years. It is WAY too time consuming to manually rename all of my files. I am sure that any music lovers out there know the struggle! You all know who Mary Lambert is. She was the beautiful voice in the song, “Same Love” with Macklemore. I literally tear up every time I hear that song tears come to my eyes. It touched me so much when it first came out that I had to search to learn more about the beautiful voice. I learned from my research that Mary Lambert had another version of Same Love, which was titled “She Keeps Me Warm”. After watching this it was clear to me, Mary Lambert is a part of the LGBT community! I am a HUGE advocate for equality, so I knew that I needed to review her new album, “Heart on My Sleeve.”
