I recently posted an article titled the Top 5 Unique Picnic Must Haves. I included some of the very best items that were tested and review by yours truly. Sometimes you find items that are so unique, yet useful you wonder how you didn’t come up with the idea yourself. That is how I feel about all of the items, specifically these Salad To-Go Containers. They are so useful and convenient that I believe everyone needs one!
It is finally the holiday season and you know what that means- LOTS of baking!! Woohoo! I admit that I am no baker. I manage to make the worst cookies every darn time I try. I can make a mean pot roast, but when it comes to baking you can count on me to burn the cake! I am not one to give up though. I love trying new recipes and new ideas when it comes to the delicious treats that I share with my loved ones. When I found out there were baking pans made specifically to bake unique desserts like brookies (brownies with a cookie inside), ice cream cone cupcakes (cupcakes inside of an ice cream cone) and Filled layered cakes (cakes with a delicious filling), I knew that I NEEDED to jump right on board and give it a shot. The results of my baking success (or disaster) are below!
Guys and Gals, we have all been there before. Angry at an ex because they just did not treat you fairly. We appear to be calm, but on the inside we are raging. Just wishing there was something we could do to make ourselves feel better. I’ve heard of screaming into a pillow or smacking it around a little. That does give some sort of release, but what about something new? Something different? What about Voodoo? hahaha. What about a Voodoo knife set and holder? I know you are thinking, “Has this girl lost her mind?” My answer- Yes, I lost it a long time ago, but that is not the point. Let me explain more…
Don’t you miss being a sweet little girl? Playing with dolls, tea parties, playing dress up, and so much more. Okay, maybe we didn’t do all of those things. I did play with dolls, but I was not much of a girlie girl. I climbed trees and played with toy cars more than anything else. Not that I am a young woman, I wish I were a girl again. I want to play dress up and play with a dollhouse and have tea parties! Halloween is over, so I can’t really play dress up again. Playing with dolls as an adult isn’t as fun. Unfortunately reality has a hindered my imagination. One thing I can do as a young woman, however, is I can BAKE. I am not saying I can bake GOOD, but I sure can give it a try. I can also have as many tea parties as I want (said in a defiant tone)! Why not have a cupcake tea party? What is a cupcake tea party, you may ask? Well my lovely friends, I will explain it all to you.
I’m sure you’ve all heard of chilling stones (also called whiskey stones) for your drinks. There are many different varieties of these. They are meant to chill you drinks without watering them down. They are generally used to chill your alcoholic beverages, but can be used in any kind of drinks. Usually these are shaped like ice cubes. I have always viewed chilling stones as something that men would use. Mainly because men drink the hard drinks, so they need them more. I was happy to see that someone finally made these stylish enough to attract women!
Most people collect stamps, pictures, shot glasses, pins, postcards, and other travel related things. I am not like most people. I collect throw blankets. I am only 5ft tall, so the typical throw blanket is the perfect size for me. My obsession began years ago when my grandmother bought me a beautiful and soft throw blanket for Christmas. Every year since then, she has given me a new throw blanket for Christmas. It’s kind of our tradition and I love it! I’m not kidding when I say that every day of my life, I use my throw blankets. I even travel with them! I use them in the car, on the plane, at hotels, and at home. With that said, I am always looking for the softest, most unique, and most comfortable throw blankets to add to my collection. I’m pretty sure I have found one of the most unique of them all. This throw blanket is made out of bamboo!!
It is no secret that I LOVE candles and any scented home items. I collect scented candles, air fresheners, scented waxes, and any other home fragrances that you can think of. I always look forward to trying any new or unique ones. I love candles that have unique names and weird scents. I am all about creativity in life and I look for it in every product that I test or purchase. With that said, I am going to tell you about an AWESOME candle company that has a variety of weird, creative, and unique scents!
Ever since I was a kid, I loved my back rubbed. It has always relaxed me. The problem when you get older is that you don’t have your mom there to rub your back until you fall asleep. As much as I beg and plead for my boyfriend to rub or massage my back, he isn’t always in the mood. I’ve tried handheld massagers before, but it isn’t comfortable to reach my arm up to massage my back. It isn’t a relaxing experience. Other than a massage chair, our options are limited on getting a nice massage by ourselves. Well, my friends, the days of wishing, hoping, and begging for a back massage are over. You don’t need to struggle, you don’t need to beg your spouse, or pay a stranger for a back massage anymore.
