REVIEW: Animal Kingdom’s Unforgettable Safari and Animal Encounters #WDW #Disney

I visited Animal Kingdom for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Well, I visited when I was on a class trip in middle school, but that doesn’t count because I don’t remember anything but the Tigger notebook that I bought (and still have). Needless to say, I walked into Animal Kingdom with new eyes and an entirely new kind of excitement.

REVIEW: The Animated Movie, BLING, Gives Kids a True Definition of Loyalty

Sometimes the best way to teach children is through play. With certain topics and subjects, it can be a lot easier to approach them by referencing a movie or a show that they love. BLING delivers an incredible example of how important loyalty is in every area of your life. I found it interesting that the story was about adults and not children, which I think is a nice change.

REVIEW: Zootopia Surprises Audiences with Touchy Subjects, Witty Comedy, and Detailed Animation #Zootopia

What do you expect when you walk out of a Disney movie? Our expectations are usually measured by our past experiences. My experience with Disney movies has definitely become more enjoyable throughout the years. I’ve always loved Disney, but my expectations have obviously changed. As a child, it was all about the imagination. As an adult, I want to walk out of a Disney movie feeling real emotion. Zootopia surprised everyone by delicately touching on sensitive subjects without preaching or offending anyone. Those important messages, mixed with the witty comedy, and incredibly detailed animation, made for a film that I will watch over and over again. There are so many reasons to watch Zootopia as an adult, parent, or child.

Zootopia’s creators talk hidden Disney Gems and Cut Scenes

It’s no secret that Disney likes to place hidden gems, also known as “Easter Eggs” in their movies. You know, like Goofy and Donald’s appearance in the crowd during King Triton’s entrance in The Little Mermaid. Another popular gem is Aladdin’s carpet in the opening of The Princess and The Frog. There are a ton of inside jokes that only adults, or maybe only the creators, would understand. I think that we all walked into the Zootopia screening looking for an underlying message or a hidden gem. Some were more cryptic than others, but they definitely exist. The ones that we didn’t catch, the Zootopia Directors and Producers filled us in on.
