I’ve always loved the Power Rangers. Being a 90s kid, I used to watch it all the time. My friends and I would fight over which Power Ranger we wanted to be. What we loved about Power Rangers is we felt like we could grow up to be them one day. It was a childhood staple. I’m glad it’s back for so many reasons!
We all know the story of Snow White. It’s a tale as old as time (Ignore my Beauty and The Beast reference – I’m obsessed). What we haven’t heard (until now) is the story before Snow White. Aren’t you a little curious about what happened before the story that we all know and love? I’m curious about the before and after of every movie that I love. The Huntsman Winter’s War is a movie that you want to own. Not only is it an action-packed thriller with a stellar cast, the story is really interesting.
I am all about scary movies. The thing is that most movies these days just aren’t horrifying enough to really give me the creeps. There are some movies that have genuinely terrified me, like The Strangers and The Fourth Kind. For the most part, movies nowadays days are remakes or just too fake for me to take it seriously. I like movies about things that could really happen. Basically, I’m not into the whole aliens and monsters thing, but there are some movies that I will make an exception for. I must say, 2016 has been quite impressive on the movie front. There are some movies coming this year (and next) that are going to chill me to my very core. If watching the trailers gives you goosebumps, just imagine how scary the movies are going to be.
There was a a lot of hype about Ratchet & Clank when it hit theaters. I’m going to be honest, I wanted to sneak away from the house to see it in theaters. There was something so fun about it! Apparently, it was a video game! I’m sure that some of you are saying, “Yes, we know!” It’s all news to me, people. I’m not going to lie, I kinda want the video game now – just sayin! I just knew that I needed to grab it on Blu-ray as soon as possible. I’ve partnered with Universal to not only check out the Ratchet & Clank Blu-ray, but to give one to a lucky winner, as well!
I attended the incredible press event for the Adventures with Tip & Oh series. At the event, I had the pleasure of interviewing some of the cast and screening some of the episodes. The show is now on Netflix, so I’m sure you’ve binge-watched it already. I mean, it’s pretty incredible. To celebrate this fun Netflix release, DreamWorks and I have teamed up to give you a back-to-school kit.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens was MEGA! It’s an incredible movie. I literally have 3 copies of it on DVD & Blu-ray. Coming right before Christmas is the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Collectors Edition! This is going to be the most EPIC Christmas gift of all time. I sure as heck would love it for Christmas. Mark your calendars because it’s all coming soon!
As an empathetic woman, I strive off of movies that make me feel something. If it makes me cry, then it’s a success in my book. Why do you think I love Nicholas Sparks movies so much? They make me laugh, cry, and feel like I’m falling in love again. I love those types of movies and I can’t be the only one. I’ve had my eye on quite a few upcoming movies that I think are going to tug at the heart strings, so I figured I’d share them with all of you.
The most popular blast from the past beauty trend comes right out of the 80’s. We are rockin’ high pony tails, big hair, and colorful lipsticks. It’s not unusual to walk into your local Sephora and find lipstick shades in every color of the rainbow. I have more pink and purple lipsticks (and lipstains) than I’d like to admit. My makeup bag is packed full of 80’s flair and I blame Sephora and the Sing Street DVD.
