Something that I have always loved is a girls night out! Getting all dolled up, laughing with the ladies, and drinking wine. It is always so fun. Whether it is in the home or a night out on the town, you want to look your best and feel your best. Why not dress your wine glass up too? I know you are thinking, “That sounds strange.” It is actually a really cool and fun idea!
Before I begin with anything, I must begin by telling you that I am addicted to candles. I literally have a closet for my candles. It’s a guilty pleasure, I admit it. Since I do have this love for candles, I know the struggle, more than the average person, of trying to light one. Have you ever tried to light a deep candle with a regular lighter? You either burn yourself or you have to flip the candle upside down or to the side to light it. It is so annoying and it is a struggle. Also, for non-smokers, it’s annoying because I can never find a lighter. I have been using our grill lighter, but that is only if I can find it! One thing that I never though of was a candle lighter. Did you know that there are lighters specifically made for lighting candles? Did you know you could actually light your candles with ease?
I always need more kitchen towels. I use them for everything. Probably more things than I should. I use them to clean the counters, clean the stove, dry the dishes, to dry my hands, and much more. In my home, kitchen towels are like bobby pins- they are always needed and can never be found! They always disappear. Does anyone else have this pesky problem?
Sometimes, something as simple as the glass that you are drinking out of can make an experience for you better or more meaningful. There is nothing like drinking hot cocoa or espresso out of a glass that is the perfect size for the quantity that you need. If you’ve ever had espresso, you know that an average size coffee cup is WAY too large.
When body meets soul you find peace. When body meets soul you find true happiness. Our bodies are just as beautiful as our souls. We are all unique and created to be one of a kind. As humans though, we don’t always feel comfortable with our bodies. Whether it be the society we live in or just an off day, sometimes we just don’t feel good about ourselves. Those are the days that we need a pick me up. I don’t know a woman on this Earth that doesn’t enjoy a little pampering. It can be a manicure, a nice bath, or even a scented lotion to make her feel a little bit more relaxed and little bit more beautiful. I think it’s important to spoil ourselves and to spoil the ladies in our lives. With Laline you can do just that.
Sometimes your laundry just needs a pick me up. Aromatherapy always relaxes me and puts me in a better mood. Why not do the same for your laundry? I mean we wear clothes every day (I’d hope). I think it’s important that our laundry smells fresh and clean at all times. Like I said, aromatherapy relaxes me, so if I walk around all day smelling it on my clothes, I think its safe to say that it will keep me in a great mood. This one is for all of the Mommies and homemakers everywhere! Being a mommy or a homemaker means that you have the fun (sarcasm) responsibility of keeping your home as clean as it can be. It’s sad to say, but as homemakers, we get excited about new cleaning products. We do our best to make everything clean and sparkle, but we can only do so much. There has to be a point to where our cleaning products do some of the work! Am I right or am I expecting too much? Aren’t you sick of trying new products that claim to be “the best in the market” but end up being a disappointment? I didn’t believe in products that made your clothes brighter and your dishes sparkling, until now…
I don’t consider myself an outdoorsy type of gal. I don’t spend my days outside and I don’t go trekking through the woods. I don’t do outdoor activities because I am in Florida. It is TOO hot and humid here for me to enjoy being outside. Likely excuse right? haha. While I may not be the outdoorsy type, I do have a great love for nature. I enjoy relaxing walks through nature trails. I love hearing the birds chirp. Hearing the wind blowing through the trees is one of the most relaxing sounds I could ever hear. Even more than that, I love the smell of wood.
