Don’t you miss being a sweet little girl? Playing with dolls, tea parties, playing dress up, and so much more. Okay, maybe we didn’t do all of those things. I did play with dolls, but I was not much of a girlie girl. I climbed trees and played with toy cars more than anything else. Not that I am a young woman, I wish I were a girl again. I want to play dress up and play with a dollhouse and have tea parties! Halloween is over, so I can’t really play dress up again. Playing with dolls as an adult isn’t as fun. Unfortunately reality has a hindered my imagination. One thing I can do as a young woman, however, is I can BAKE. I am not saying I can bake GOOD, but I sure can give it a try. I can also have as many tea parties as I want (said in a defiant tone)! Why not have a cupcake tea party? What is a cupcake tea party, you may ask? Well my lovely friends, I will explain it all to you.

It is finally time for the holidays! That means family get togethers, work parties, and a lot of mingling. It is very important that in the midst of all the chaos, that you look your very best! You need to make sure that you makeup is up to par during all of these events. You want your makeup to last all night and for the colors to be fitting for the season. Dancing With The Stars- a media sensation and a new American dream! It seems like everyone wants to dance with the stars or to dance like a star these days. Whether you are a dancer or a fan of one of the dancers, everyone seems to be find an excuse to watch this show. Most people I know have only one watch. It is usually gold or silver. Being the fashionista that I am, one watch is just NOT enough! I need a watch that will match my outfit. While I want more than one watch, realistically I know that I cannot just collect a bunch of watches because it is too expensive and I just do not have the space for them. What makes a Children’s book appealing to an adult and to a child? First of all, the book cover must have a cute and colorful cover. When walking down an aisle at a book store, what makes your young child grab one bog among all of the others? Does it make them laugh? Is it unique? Does it have some sort of creativity that is appealing to your child? Parents look for something completely different when choosing books for their children. They ask themselves, “What is this going to teach my child? Will this be an entertaining book that will leave my child with a lesson learned?” When I buy books for the little ones in my life, I look for both the appealing cover, great illustrations inside the book, and the educational experience. That is what drew me into The Principle Gang books.

Ladies, sometimes we just need a break from all of our responsibilities. We need a nice relaxing day or a girls night out. I know that many of you enjoy routine, but I do not. It gets boring after awhile. Also, when I begin a routine, I get stuck in it. Many of our routines include work, school, exercise, cooking, cleaning, and many other daunting tasks. That brings me to another subject- dieting. Oh the dreaded word- DIET. Are you cringing yet? Some of us forget that dieting includes drinking less alcohol. It is unhealthy, so it is typically a NO NO when dieting. Well ladies, we can still have a girls night out. We can still have a few alcoholic beverages without completely ruining our diet. I have a family of pet lovers. Since I was a child, I have had a deep connection with animals and a deep love for them. Growing up, my favorite toy was the cute little kitty cat that purred when you moved it or cuddled it. Toys have advanced SO much since then! Now toys talk, walk, play, and are more advanced than you’d ever think toys would be. To be honest, I am jealous. I wish that I had toys this cool growing up. At least I can say that the kiddos in my life are lucky enough to play with these awesome toys. I think it is very important that we buy children toys that we wish we had and that we can play with when they are not around. hahaha.
