Every mom and dad deserves an updated kitchen. They need a little something new and probably wont get it themselves. Help modernize mom and dad’s kitchen by considering some of my favorite items below!

My boyfriend and I moved in together a little over a year ago. It’s our first place together in a new city, so we wanted (almost) everything to be brand new. Well, that’s just my excuse to get new things, but that’s another tale in itself. When you need a house full of new things, you don’t think of the small things that you may need. In our case, it was a bread box. My boyfriend had not idea what a bread box was and I was on a very intense hunt to find one. We visited multiple home goods stores, like Bed, Bath, & Beyond and Ikea. To our surprise we couldn’t find one anywhere. I mean, Ikea, come on! They have EVERYTHING for the home. Apparently, they have everything except for bread boxes. As you could imagine, I was disappointed. I gave up on finding a nice bread box until I came across the company Francois et Mimi.

What it comes down to is this… Would I pay $15 for this? No. Would I pay $5 or less just in the hopes that I am ACTUALLY protecting myself, maybe.

For the past few months I have been on a search for a delicates bag that I can throw into washing machine. I searched a few retail and grocery stores, but the only bags I could find were for the dryer or just too small for me to stuff my items in. My bras and other delicate items seem to get wrapped and tangled in the washer. I have had shirts and bras completely ruined after getting twisted up in the machine. The truth is that sometimes our washing machines, no matter how high-tech or expensive they are, just do not protect our clothing enough.
